Really, how easy is it to make my own cables (Bullet Cable & Core X2)?

Probably about the same level as making macaroni art in kindergarten for your Mom.

Seriously, we tested our cables on non-musician by giving them a couple of connectors, some cable and the instructions that come with Bullet Cable and Core X2 connectors and asked them to make a patch cord for a pedal hook up. It took and average of about 5 minutes to make a working cable on the first try and about 3 minutes to measure, cut and hook up the second cable on the next try.
